Our first Code Drill saw us prove a simple test in a single browser worked fine. In this second Code Drill we’ll look to do cross browser testing by adding another three browsers to the set-up.
Problem: Demonstrate our set-up can run tests across multiple browsers
Given we have Chrome, Firefox, IE and Edge browsers on our Dev-in-Test system
When we modify and run Code Drill 1 against all browsers
Then the test passes on each browser
Approach: Make sure you’ve installed the four browsers on your system and correctly called them in your test script. Running in sequence is fine, we’ll optimise later.
Code: See our Code-Drills repository on GitHub for a suggested solution
Article: Read the article where we discuss our code solution to the Code Drill.
